Week 10 – Struggle???

2014-10-09 21.46.51No, I´m not struggling right now – actually I experience a serenity, peace of mind and connection with the source as I´ve never experienced it before.
The mental diet has been, and still is, extremely helpful and I feel liberatingly detached from the results of my efforts and other peoples actions as well as reaction while at the same time being more passionate than ever in doing my best, delivering on my promises and holding myself to the highest level of honesty and integrity.

Though I know perfectly well what it means to struggle in life and even to live a struggle and that leads us to the point of this blog.

How is it that humans are the only creature on the planet that experience struggle in their life???
And at the same time we´re the only creative creature on the planet, what the f*ck???
Are we creating our own struggle???
Did I do just that earlier in my life???

Most certainly!!!

“1. Abundance is a natural law of the Universe. The evidence of this law is
conclusive; we see it on every hand. Everywhere Nature is lavish, wasteful,
extravagant. Nowhere is economy observed in any created thing. Profusion is
manifested in everything. The millions and millions of trees and flowers and
plants and animals and the vast scheme of reproduction where the process of
creating and recreating is forever going on, all indicates the lavishness with
which Nature has made provision for man. That there is an abundance for
everyone is evident, but that many fail to participate in this abundance is also
evident; they have not yet come into a realization of the Universality of all
substance, and that mind is the active principle whereby we are related to the
things we desire.”
Charles Haanel, “The Master Key System”, Part 10

Nothing alive in nature makes a conscious decision to grow and develop, nor does it need to make that decision. A straw of grass as well as a gigantic oak tree follows it´s nature to grow as high as it´s genes allow. A wolf naturally strives to rise in the hierarchy of the pack, the elk and the deer grows bigger horns for every season and the individuals that survive and grow strong will mate and leave that legacy of strength to continue.

“18. We see the law in operation everywhere; all nature testifies to the
operation of the law by silently, constantly expressing itself in the law of
growth. Where there is growth, there must be life; where there is life there
must be harmony, so that everything that has life is constantly attracting to
itself the conditions and the supply which is necessary for its most complete
expression.”
Charles Haanel, “The Master Key System”, Part 10

Only humans have the ability to override the natural drive to excel that comes naturally for every other living thing.
Ever thought about what that means in regard to our power?

As the only creature we don´t just have to accept the Law of Growth, we can actually choose how to use it – doesn´t that just blow Your mind???
The Law of Growth “forces” everything in nature to maximize it´s potential, to be the best and man is the only species that is POWERFUL enough to control this Law by simple making up his/her mind about WHAT should grow!

And if that is not fascinating enough – let´s take a look around and see how most people use this tremendous power… WHY???

Well, regardless of HOW and WHY the human species apparently is aiming at collectively annihilate not just it´s own but the entire planet we live on just as most individuals are about to annihilate themselves as a sacrifice to the collective there seems to be a intriguingly easy way to change the whole struggle part…

Add to that the simple techniques we are taught in this course synergistically working together to move our focus from the concrete around us to the gold within and gives us the ability to influence the world around us with the good we´re developing within!

“24. What, then, is the correct principle? Concentrate on the things you want, not on
the things you do not want. Think of abundance; idealize the methods and plans for
putting the Law of Abundance into operation. Visualize the condition which the Law
of Abundance creates; this will result in manifestation.”
Charles Haanel, “The Master Key System”, Part 7

And now let us expand on this a minute…

What if everyone on this course tells a few others about the Mental Diet?
What if we spread the story that there´s a way to effortless success?
What if everyone of us could give the gift of the MK to just a few friends?

Could we change the world together? Without struggle?

Well, if it´s true (and I haven´t found any evidence or reason to believe it´s not…) that:

  1. The outer world is a perfect reflexion of the inner world
  2. We have absolute control over the inner world through the thoughts we choose to entertain

There should not be any room for doubt that a comparably small number of minds who consciously add to each others power through persistent and focused effort can achieve astonishing results. Intriguing, isn´t it?

So what can we do with this? What does it mean?

For me it has meant giving myself permission to follow my heart and walk away from the cement and the “River of Dreams”. To take a step back from what´s considered success in society and ask myself what success means to me.
To do my very best to pursue my goals from integrity and through serving others by looking at not what´s in it for me or for them but what´s in it for us.
And at that point of mutual interest and collaboration, that´s where the magic happens, that´s where the struggle ends and the ease of life takes its place.

In the end it´s all a choice, preferably a conscious one, what we make important in our lives and how we feel about it. And as we have complete control over the only thing that really matters, our thoughts, let us all be:

  • Whole
  • Perfect
  • Strong
  • Powerful
  • Loving
  • Harmonious
  • Happy

Thank You for taking the time to read this post, I appreciate You!

Wonderful blog filled with insights and a pretty good eye-opener for many…:-)
Happy- is what’s truly important for all of us, not many things matters if we can’t feel happiness.
So we can all spread it to the world, step by step, smiles and kind words, complements and a tap on the shoulder, giving from the heart and really being in the state of mind that is Love itself:-)
Love you babe:-P And I’m proud of our decision to make some animals happy here by saving them and giving them a home. 🙂

Hi Claes, I have to admit that I had a hard time visualizing the abundance in all of nature in Chapter 10. Not all of Nature is abundant and sometimes it is very cruel. I live in rural Canada and after long winters the animals look beaten up and are scavenging to save their lives. In drought years in a farming community there is a lot culling of herds and wet years there is mold of crops. A few years ago we had a very mild winter and in the spring/summer the bugs where so bad that they ate most of the early stages of crops so they needed to be replanted. There is a balance that nature brings and when the balance is thrown off there is suffering.

Hey Catherine, as much as I can see Your point here on the other hand all these animals and bugs are instinctively doing the most out of the circumstances.
Not one of them can make a conscious choice to be less than they can be. That power only belongs to us men and women of the human species!

Loved your blog! I had wanted to find your blog because I have appreciated so many of your comments in the Alliance. The questions you raise are definitely worth pondering, a noble challenge and quite exciting to contemplate. Feel soooo good ending with “Happy”.

Hey Janet, thanks for finding my blog – so happy that I have been of service to You in some way!

And, as a yellow, let me add one more question:
Doesn´t everything both starts AND ends with “Happy” 😀
