Week 15 – Creature or Creator?

“I am a unique creature of nature.”
Og Mandino, “The Greatest Salesman in the World”, Scroll 4

What if we change a few characters in that sentence?

“I am a unique creator of nature.”

A) Is this a typo in the book?
B) Did Mandino make a misstake?
C) Is it intended? To make the reader think?
D) None of the above?

Your answer is as good as mine!

Lets look at some additional information:

“11. It is love which imparts vitality to thought and thus enables it to germinate. The
law of attraction, or the law of love, for they are one and the same, will bring to it
the necessary material for its growth and maturity.”….

….”20. We know that the Universal Thought has for its goal the creation of form, and
we know that the individual thought is likewise forever attempting to express itself
in form, and we know that the word is a thought form, and a sentence is a
combination of thought forms, therefore, if we wish our ideal to be beautiful or
strong, we must see that the words out of which this temple will eventually be
created are exact, that they are put together carefully, because accuracy in building
words and sentences is the highest form of architecture in civilization and is a
passport to success.”
Charles Haanel, “The Master Key System”, Part 15

In my understanding the combined meaning of point 11 and 20 is that we attract what we love by the process of thinking, consciously or unconsciously, of the things we love and wrap these thoughts in words that form the bricks of our temple of creation!

OMG, this is how important out habitual thoughts really are – am I happy for the mental diet, the flashcards, shapes, my DMP, POA etc…

“Life gives no one immunity against adversity, but life gives to everyone the power of positive thought, which is sufficient to master all circumstances of adversity and convert them into benefits. The individual is left with the privilege of using or neglecting to use his prerogative right to think his way through all adversities. Every individual is forced either to use his thought power for the attainment of definite, positive ends, or by neglect or design use this power for the attainment of negative ends. There can be no compromise, no refusal to use the mind.”
Napoleon Hill, “Outwitting the Devil”

“8. This, then, is the way we are consistently creating and recreating ourselves; we are today the result of our past thinking, and we shall be what we are thinking today, the Law of Attraction is bringing to us, not the things we should like, or the things we wish for, or the things some one else has, but it brings us “our own,” the things which we have created by our thought processes, whether consciously or unconsciously. Unfortunately, many of us are creating these things unconsciously.”
Charles Haanel, “The Master Key System”, Part 5

I could probably quote us all to boredom here and I hope You´re ok with me presuming You get the point.
We are creators of nature as well as creatures of nature and with that we are creators of us creatures of nature.

You, I and everyone else on this planet is unique, unexchangeable and irreplaceable!

“…for why should the miracle which produced me end with my birth? Why can I not extend that miracle to my deeds of today?”
Og Mandino, “The Greatest Salesman in the World”, Scroll 4

    Claes,
Thank you for all your “quotes” from Haanel. Also, thanks for the James Carrey speech. I shared that a bit ago and always learn something new when listening to it. I replaced the words as you requested. It actually felt way better doing so! Thanks for that tip. Nature’s creators is more in sync for me! CE
